(Psalm 19:7-14)

2.1 The Six Titles for God's Word (*) 
(Psalm 19:7-9)

1º Title: “LAW”

1.1 Attribute: “Perfect” – God’s Word is Perfect

1.2 Result: “Converting the soul”

v 7a “The law of the LORD is perfect, 
converting the soul:…”

    

2º Title: “TESTIMONY”

2.1 Attribute: “Sure”

2.2 Result: “Making Wise” (and also Psalm 119:98; 
Proverbs 2:1-9; 2 Timothy 3:14,15...)

v 7b “…the testimony of the LORD is sure, 

making wise the simple.”

   

3º Title: “STATUTES”

3.1 Attribute: “Right”

3.2 Result: “Rejoicing the heart”

v 8a “The statutes of the LORD are right, 
rejoicing the heart:…”

  

    

  

4º Title: “COMMANDMENT”

4.1 Attribute: “Pure”

4.2 Result: “Enlightening the Eyes” (also Psalm 119:105)

v8b “… the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.”

    

5º Title: “FEAR”

5.1 Attribute: “Clean”

5.2 Result: “Enduring for Ever” - God's Word is Eternal 
(and also Psalm 119:89; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 24:35; 1 Peter 1:25)

v 9a “The fear of the LORD is clean, 
enduring for ever:…”

    

6º Title: “JUDGMENTS”

6.1 Attribute: “True” – God’s Word is Truth – 
(also Psalm 119:142; John 17:17) 

6.2 Result: “Righteous altogether”

v 9b “… the judgments of the LORD are true

10 More to be desired are they than gold, 

yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey 

and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned:
