Psalm 19:1-4
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament
sheweth his handywork.
sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night
sheweth knowledge.
sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language,
where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out
through all the earth,
through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them hath
he set a tabernacle for the sun,
The Spacious Firmament on High

1. The spacious firmament on high,
with all the blue ethereal sky,
and spangled heavens, a shining frame,
their great Original proclaim.
The unwearied sun from day to day
does his Creator's power display;
and publishes to every land
the work of an almighty hand.
with all the blue ethereal sky,
and spangled heavens, a shining frame,
their great Original proclaim.
The unwearied sun from day to day
does his Creator's power display;
and publishes to every land
the work of an almighty hand.
2. Soon as the evening shades prevail,
the moon takes up the wondrous tale,
and nightly to the listening earth
repeats the story of her birth;
while all the stars that round her burn,
and all the planets, in their turn,
confirm the tidings, as they roll
and spread the truth from pole to pole.
the moon takes up the wondrous tale,
and nightly to the listening earth
repeats the story of her birth;
while all the stars that round her burn,
and all the planets, in their turn,
confirm the tidings, as they roll
and spread the truth from pole to pole.
3. What though in solemn silence all
move round the dark terrestrial ball?
What though no real voice nor sound
amid their radiant orbs be found?
In reason's ear they all rejoice,
and utter forth a glorious voice;
for ever singing as they shine,
'The hand that made us is divine.'
move round the dark terrestrial ball?
What though no real voice nor sound
amid their radiant orbs be found?
In reason's ear they all rejoice,
and utter forth a glorious voice;
for ever singing as they shine,
'The hand that made us is divine.'
Letra (1)
1. De toda a terra e das nações
Louvor a Cristo levantai;
Em alta voz, dos corações,
O nome de Jesus cantai.
Louvor a Cristo levantai;
Em alta voz, dos corações,
O nome de Jesus cantai.
Refrão
O dom supremo, divinal,
Justiça eterna e santo amor,
De litoral em litoral,
Serão cantados ao Senhor.
2. Em toda língua bendizei
A Deus, Autor da criação;
E em toda a terra engrandecei
Jesus, que é nossa redenção.
A Deus, Autor da criação;
E em toda a terra engrandecei
Jesus, que é nossa redenção.
1. O céu azul na amplidão,
estrelas mil em multidão,
a luz do céu e seu fulgor
proclamarão o Criador.
O Sol de luz, com seu calor,
louvor dará ao seu Autor,
e sem falar, a resplender,
dirá de Deus e Seu poder.
2. Ao grande Deus, o som do mar,
a flor gentil, a voz do ar,
a doce paz da noite azul
aclamarão de norte a sul.
Assim dirão o céu e o mar,
do Seu poder e amor sem par.
E vós, nações, clamai também!
Louvai a Deus, Senhor! Amém.
