TESTIMONY - Redeemed by the Blood / Praise and Thanksgiving: Sermon & Hymns

Psalm 107:10-16 King James Version (KJV)

Psalm 107
10 Such as sit in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
being bound in affliction and iron;
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God,
and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12 Therefore he brought down
their heart with labour;
they fell down,
and there was none to help.

Psalm 107
13 Then they cried unto the Lord
in their trouble,
and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 He brought them out of darkness
and the shadow of death,
and brake their bands in sunder.

Psalm 107:15 Oh that men would praise the Lord
for his goodness,
and for his wonderful works
to the children of men!

Psalm 107:16 For he hath broken the gates of brass,
and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

Since I Have Been Redeemed

1. I have a song I love to sing,
Since I have been redeemed,
Of my Redeemer, Savior King,
Since I have been redeemed.

Refrain

Since I have been redeemed,
Since I have been redeemed,
I will glory in His Name,
Since I have been redeemed
I will glory in the Savior's Name.

2. I have a Christ Who satisfies
Since I have been redeemed,
To do His will my highest prize,
Since I have been redeemed.

3. I have a witness bright and clear,
Since I have been redeemed,
Dispelling every doubt and fear,
Since I have been redeemed.

4. I have a home prepared for me,
Since I have been redeemed,
Where I shall dwell eternally,
Since I have been redeemed.

5. I have a joy I can’t express,
Since I have been redeemed,
All through His blood and righteousness,
Since I have been redeemed.

O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing

1. O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of His grace!

2. My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread through all the earth abroad
The honors of Thy name.

3. Jesus! the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease;
’Tis music in the sinner’s ears,
’Tis life, and health, and peace.

4. He breaks the power of canceled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean,
His blood availed for me.

5. Hear Him, ye deaf; His praise, ye dumb,
Your loosened tongues employ;
Ye blind, behold your Savior come,
And leap, ye lame, for joy.

Oh! Redimido Sou

1. Eu tenho um hino que eu cantarei,
pois redimido sou,
De Jesus Cristo meu Senhor e Rei,
pois redimido sou.

Refrão

Oh! redimido sou,
Sim, eu redimido sou,
Louvarei ao meu Senhor;
Oh! redimido sou,
Louvarei meu grande Salvador.

2. Eu tenho um Salvador que satisfaz,
pois redimido sou,
O Seu querer o que me mais apraz,
pois redimido sou.

3. Eu tenho fé firmada com fervor,
pois, redimido sou,
Que lança fora todo o meu temor,
pois redimido sou.

4. Eu tenho um lar que Deus dará a mim,
pois redimido sou.
Eternamente com Jesus enfim,
pois redimido sou.

Mil Línguas Eu Quisera Ter

1. Mil línguas eu quisera ter
para entoar louvor
à Tua graça e ao Teu poder,
meu Rei e meu Senhor.
2. Teu santo nome, ó Redentor,
o meu temor desfaz
e traz a mim, um pecador,
consolo, vida e paz.

3. Com Teus remidos louvarei
o Teu eterno amor
e o nome Teu exaltarei,
bondoso Salvador.
4. Ó Mestre amado, meu Jesus,
ajuda-me a levar,
por todo o mundo, a tua luz,
o Teu amor sem par.
