II. God Loves All People
Jesus Died for All - He Died for You
(John 3:16;
Romans 5:6-8; Philippians 2:5-9;
1 Timothy 1:15,16, 1 John 4:10...)
Old Rugged Cross
"The old rugged
cross stands forever in eternity, testifying to the one and only sacrifice for
sins made by the Lamb of God. The power of the cross is Jesus Christ Himself, who became flesh
and blood (one of us) in order to make us children of God in every sense.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. (John 3:16)"

The Old Rugged Cross
The Old Rugged Cross
1. On a hill far
away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of
suff’ring and shame;
And I love that
old cross where the Dearest and Best
For a world of
lost sinners was slain.
Refrain
So I’ll cherish
the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies
at last I lay down;
I will cling to
the old rugged cross,
And exchange it
someday for a crown.
2. Oh, that old
rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous
attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb
of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark
Calvary.
3. In that old
rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty
I see,
For ’twas on that
old cross Jesus suffered and died,
To pardon and
sanctify me.
4. To the old
rugged cross I will ever be true;
Its shame and
reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me
someday to my home far away,
Where His glory
forever I’ll share.

1. Rude cruz se erigiu, dela o dia fugiu,
revelando vergonha e pavor.

ao Calvário humilhante baixou;
e essa cruz tem p’ra mim atrativos sem fim
porque nela Ele me resgatou.

Sua glória p’ra sempre vou ter.
