Manna - (Exodus 16:31-36)

Deuteronomy 8:3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. [NIV]

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, 

“It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” [NIV]

Psalm 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. [ESV]

Psalm 119:103 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! [NIV]

Hebrews 5

12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.

14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. [NIV]
