I. Jesus Christ, the Redeemer
Psalm 49:6 Those who trust in
their wealth
And boast in the multitude of their riches,
7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
Nor give to God a ransom for him—
8 For the redemption of their souls is costly,
And it shall cease forever—
9 That he should continue to live eternally,
And not see the Pit. [NKJV]

Nor give to God a ransom for him—
8 For the redemption of their souls is costly,
And it shall cease forever—
9 That he should continue to live eternally,
And not see the Pit. [NKJV]

and Isaiah 53:7; John 1:29; 19:14; 1 Peter 1:18,19 ...
1 Peter 1:18 knowing that you were
not redeemed with corruptible things,
like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received
by tradition from your
fathers,
19 but with the precious blood
of Christ, as of a
lamb
without blemish
and without spot. [NKJV]
b. Therefore, Jesus Christ is our Redeemer !
He Paid the Debt for Our Sins
!
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and
the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having
forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting
of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken
it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having
disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them,
triumphing over them in it.

Christ in Our Place – (Romans 5:6-11)
6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ
died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one
die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But
God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by
His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when
we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much
more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And
not only that, but we also
rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received
the reconciliation. [NKJV]
V. The Resurrection of the Jesus Christ
(Matthew 28:1-10; Mark 16:1-8; Luke 24:1-12; John 20:1-10)
.
1 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because
we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He
died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for
Him who died for them and rose again. [NKJV]
